Ottawa – November 9, 2016 – Sixth Element Sustainable Management is proud to announce that Managing Director Gerald Kutney has been appointed as Chairman of the ISO technical committee TC 300 in Canada on elaboration of standards and other deliverables on solid recovered fuels (SRF) prepared from nonhazardous waste to be utilised for energy recovery in waste incineration or co-incineration plants or in industrial processes.
“I have been a member of the ISO technical committee TC 238 on solid biofuels in Canada for several years, and I look forward to bringing similar success to TC 300,” stated Dr. Kutney. “We are still in the process of forming the committee and those who can contribute and are residents of Canada can apply at the Standards Council of Canada.”
